Shoot For The King, You Better Not Miss: A Happy Ending For Kyrie Irving Or Just Premature Vindication?

When Kyrie Irving announced his intention to leave LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer, he sparked divorce proceedings that made Paul McCartney’s split with Heather Mills look a smooth, amicable resolution. The saga that dominated the summer was almost as box office as the play-off finals themselves, but few could have predicted the dust settling quite as it has. But then, just like that fateful night in Worcester, the rest of the proceedings were filled thoughts of disappointment and regret. So, here are my draft winners and losers from one of the most anticipated draft classes in recent years

All In For A Ring?

As the NBA draft finished last Thursday night, one team looking at the present and not the future is the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fresh off a 5 game championship loss to the Golden State Warriors, the question hanging over the Cavs is simple, how do we beat this team?
