Luke's Yankees Roundup: Yankees 'Sale' To Win Over Red Sox

The Yankees picked up a much needed victory over the Red Sox at Fenway Park tonight. 37-year-old lefty CC Sabathia pitched a near flawless game to put them only 4 games back in the AL standings.

Sadly, Aaron Judges woes continued as he now holds the MLB record for the most consecutive games with a strikeout with 36, but at least he has 37 home runs to make up for it; He also went 0 for 4 with a walk and 3 strikeouts.

Meanwhile in the minors Greg Bird and Starlin Castro continue to make great progress as Greg goes 2 for 4 with a run and Starlin goes 1 for 3 with a run.

In conclusion -

•CC Sabathia gets the win (10-5)

• Chris Sale picks up the loss (14-5)

• Dellin Betances notches the save (9)
