Luke's Yankees Roundup: Sweeping the Mets
The Yankees swept the Mets Thusday night; Early in the first Gary Sanchez launched a 3 run bomb to give the Yankees a lead. Aaron Judge continued his strikeout streak and took it to 34 games straight - the most by a position player in MLB history.
Next, Luis Severino gets his first base hit on a bunt to load the bases. Time to score, with the bases loaded, Brett Gardner slams a 2 run double, then Aaron Judge gets plunked to load the bases again. Shortly after El Gary Sanchez singles to make it a 7-0 game.
In the 9th Curtis Granderson hit a grand slam to make it 7-5 with no-one out. Then the Yanks sent out Dellin Betances who got the final outs of the game.
